The Surface family would like to welcome you to our website. We have owned and operated Hillbilly Produce Market since 1984. We moved to Charlotte, NC from Princeton, WV. Being from the "hills" of West Virginia, we thought Hillbilly was a suitable name for our open air produce market. Operating produce markets has been our family's business for years. We have lots of experience bringing you the most local and freshest produce that we can find. Recently we have added our own homegrown produce to sell. We have a farm in Indian Trail, NC where we grow a variety of produce and sell it directly out of our store. We are working hard at operating a friendly, honest and one-of-a-kind produce market. We invite you to come inside of our store and see all of the local, fresh and neat things we have to offer.

Hillbilly Produce Market is your year round source for local fresh produce. In addition to our variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, we also sell a vast variety of items for your garden in the Spring, pumpkins in the Fall, and Famous Fraser Fir Christmas Trees in the Winter. Please look for our Christmas tree lots around Charlotte.
